The Bluechips:
The Bluechips are a Psychedelic Pop Rock n' Roll Power Trio from Westchester County, NY. The childhood friends turned bandmates had been collaborating on and off for over 10 years before convening under the Bluechips moniker in early 2018. Although each are songwriters and multi-instrumentalists in their own right, drummer Jake Albi and guitarist Paul Beladino split lead vocal duty, with bassist Tom Davis providing occasional backgrounds. Since its inception, the group has self released two full length albums; Illegal Machine in 2019, and Say Goodbye in 2020, with a third slated for Fall of 2021 Visit www.thebluechips.bandcamp.com for merch, music, and more.
Augystine:
Augystine is a four piece Rock band from Westchester County, NY, which blends the sounds of timeless rock artists such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Velvet Revolver with elements of the blues and modern rock. This band is a “must hear '' for fans of more current acts like Royal Blood, Rival Sons, Nothing But Thieves and The Dead Weather. Their original songs match high energy, percussive vocals with gritty guitar lines, supported by a rhythm section that always sits right in the pocket. Augystine’s current lineup consists of Britney DiTocco on vocals and rhythm Guitar, Matt “Freddy” Marin on lead guitar, Greg Vance on bass, and Jakob Rush on drums. The band’s chemistry is apparent at their live shows, where they bring an intensity of emotion to their songs which could only be demonstrated by a group who has been playing together for years. Augystine released their debut album, 'Nothing Comes for Free' in 2019 and is available on all streaming platforms.
Marigold:
A Better Place is where you’re going. It’s a kaleidoscope of Orange Blue.
Marigold was founded by creative powerhouse Benjamin Lieber in 2018, a secondary project to drumming and writing for the indie rock group Head North. Marigold’s first self-titled album was released in 2018, followed by EP ‘Swinging Sounds” 2019, accompanied by two years of ample touring.
As uncertainty struck the world in 2020, Benjamin’s exploratory and self-reflective tendencies led to writing the best Marigold work to date, enveloping the country’s collective longing for where we all wanted to be: A Better Place. Together with Asbury Park musicians Joe Enright on drums and Matt Herman on bass, Marigold transformed into a full band and virtually wrote and recorded demos to the record throughout the Spring and Summer of 2020. An illustrative homage to the 70s’, Marigold’s classic rock sound has matured through hands-on collaborative, heartfelt energy. Together, the band captures the essence of the American dream, the pursuit of getting the best out of even the worst of times. Coupled with unique self-produced visuals and imagery, Marigold is here to bring you into an unruly and colorful universe. The band’s upcoming single ‘Waiting on Me’ comes out on May 19th.
