As we mark The Capitol Theatre’s 100th anniversary, we’re celebrating a century of music, community, and connection, and there’s no better way to honor that legacy than by giving back.
The Capitol Theatre is excited to continue #TheCapCares Volunteer Rewards Program, engaging music fans to make a real difference in their communities. In 2026, we’ve curated volunteer opportunities that support incredible local nonprofit organizations making a positive impact across our region.
As a thank-you, volunteers can earn free tickets to see world-class concerts and events. Join us in celebrating 100 years of music and community by giving back in a meaningful way!
Since launching in 2021, #TheCapCares has mobilized over 850 volunteers, contributing close to 2,000 hours of service across 63 events, benefiting 24 different local nonprofits in our communities.

FAQs
Who can participate in #TheCapCares?
We welcome anyone 18 years or older who would like to volunteer their time and is interested in making a difference. All volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We look forward to connecting and meeting new and old friends.
Reward Redemption
Redeeming your tickets is easy! Volunteers will earn two tickets (Standing Room Only or General Admission) for select shows on The Capitol Theatre calendar or four tickets to Garcia’s. Tickets can be redeemed after completing a minimum of one volunteer event. The only eligible volunteer opportunities for ticket rewards are #TheCapCares officially sponsored monthly events which are listed on this page.
How to redeem tickets?
Within seven (7) days of your service, simply contact us at thecapcares@thecapitoltheatre.com to request two tickets to the show you're interested in attending. Eligible events for redemption will be provided on the day of service. We always recommend putting a 1st and 2nd choice options as not all events on our calendar are available for volunteer redemption. Once we verify with organizers that the required service hours have been met, we will issue your tickets. Tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, or sold.
