Accessibility at The Capitol Theatre

The Capitol Theatre is committed to ensuring an inclusive and comfortable experience for all guests. We offer a range of accommodations for people with disabilities and those with accessibility needs, all of which are based on availability.

Wheelchair & Limited Mobility Seating

The Orchestra section includes an elevated platform with designated wheelchair-accessible and limited mobility seating. These seats can be purchased through Ticketmaster or in person at our box office.

Please note: Guests who require accessible seating must hold tickets designated for that section in order to be seated there. If accessible seating is sold out and you’re unable to purchase it, unfortunately that means there are no accessible seats currently available.

If you have already purchased standard tickets and would like to request a relocation to the accessible section, please email the box office at boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com and include a note requesting relocation, along with your Ticketmaster confirmation number. All seating adjustments are based on availability.

Assistance & Mobility Support

If you have a visual impairment or need help navigating the venue, staff can provide guidance to your seat or around the theater upon request. Please contact boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com in advance to make arrangements.

Sign Language Interpretation

The Capitol Theatre offers sign language interpreters upon request for any show. Requests must be submitted in writing at least one month in advance by emailing boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com. All requests are subject to availability.

Sight-Impaired Seating

If you require seating accommodations due to a visual impairment, please contact boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com. We’re happy to assist, based on availability.

Service Animals

We welcome service animals that assist guests with disabilities.

If you would like assistance with your seating or entry upon arrival, please reach out to our Guest Services team when you arrive or email boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com so we can help make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times, using a harness, leash, or other tether, and must be housebroken. Our team is not responsible for supervising or cleaning up after service animals. The venue reserves the right to deny entry or remove a service animal that is disruptive or poses a safety risk.

Comfort animals, emotional support animals, and therapy animals are not recognized as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted.

Priority Entry & Exit

If you require priority entry or exit at the venue, please reach out to a member of our security team when you arrive. They can assist you in accessing our fast-lane entry line or provide support as needed to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

Additional Accomodations

If you do not see an accommodation listed that you require, please contact us at boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com. We will do our best to meet your needs and ensure your experience at The Capitol Theatre is comfortable and enjoyable.

Ticket Exchanges

If you’ve already purchased tickets and need to exchange them for accessible seating, email boxoffice@thecapitoltheatre.com with your full name and Ticketmaster confirmation number.

Please note: If your tickets were purchased through a third-party reseller, we are unable to process exchanges or refunds.
