Antoine Bleck:
Antoine Bleck was born in the Vosges mountains of northeast France and was introduced to the piano at a young age. By his early thirties Antoine had moved to New York City and was composing his own music.
Emerging from his basement studio after 15 years of perfecting his art, Bleck, accompanied by a group of Brazillian musicians, chose to start his performing career at Opia - the Manhatten restaurant and lounge he owned. In April of 2003 Bleck released his first CD Principe Favorable. A second album, Mes Illusions produced and written in conjunction with Charlelie Couture, soon followed. In 2010 Bleck completed his third disc En Confidence and in 2013 , his fourth album " Un temps pour tout", produced by Russ Titelman, which led him to sing privately for Eric Clapton's birthday, (a surprise from his wife.. just because he loved the album so much!)
Antoine's music is inspired by artists such as Steely Dan, Michael Franks and closer to his origins, Michel Jonasz, Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Dutronc. His music has been described as “bluesy, jazzy, funk” with a “je ne sais quoi" romantic French style. Antoine has a voice suggestive of Yves Montand and Serge Gainsbourg.
His songs are written mainly in French, with sensitivity and humor. Bleck recently released his fourth album with renowned music producer Russ Titelman (Eric Clapton, James Taylor, Steve Winwood).
