FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q. I see that the tiles have a set format for what can go on each line. Can that be customized?
A: Unfortunately, no. We ask that you please follow along with the format and placement as offered.
Q. We’d like to commemorate a date or event (birthday, anniversary, etc) other than a show at The Cap. Can we do that?
A: Although we are honored that you'd like to commemorate your special date with us, we ask that you please choose a specific date of a Cap show for your tile.
Q: I can't locate the icon choices. Where can I find them?
A: Please click the link “Click Here To View Clipart” on the order page to view the icons. The icon of the Cap “C” (CAPCT) is the default icon. It will be placed on orders that do not choose a specific icon on the order.
Q: Can I send you a different icon or image to include on my tile?
A: Sorry, we are not able to accept special request icons. Please select one of the six that are approved.
Q: Will I be able to see a rendering of my tile before I purchase it?
A: The tile company does not offer that feature, but we have a team of squirrels who will be going through every order to check dates, names, spellings. However, we do ask that you please double-check the details of your order before purchasing.
Q: My favorite band played multiple shows at The Cap. Can I list more than one show per tile?
A: Right on! We know it's a hard choice, but please choose only one favorite or most-memorable show date to list on your tile.
Q: I see there is a limit of 20 characters per line, including for the name and artist lines. What if my message has more than 20 characters?
A: We would suggest trying to eliminate some of the characters (making “Robert” into “Rob”, "Joe Russo’s Almost Dead” into “JRAD”, “Neil Young and Promise of the Real” into “Neil Young & POTR”, etc). 20 characters are the max.
Q: What receipt will I get for my order?
A: You will receive an email from PayPal confirming your order.
Q: When will the tiles be installed?
A: A ceremony to dedicate the tiles will be held when we re-open. You will be notified in advance so you can join us for this special occasion.
Q: I ordered a replica of my tile. When will I receive it?
A: Thank you for ordering a replica tile to show off your love for The Cap! Replica tile orders placed prior to October 5, 2020, are considered "Phase 1,” and should be manufactured in time to be shipped before the December 2020 holiday season. Orders placed after this date, are considered "Phase 2,” and will be manufactured and shipped closer to our reopen date in 2021.
Q: I’d like to order more than one replica of my tile. Can I do that?
A: Yes, we apologize that the tile company’s website is not set up to do this. Please email us at [email protected] and we can assist you.
Q: I already ordered a tile but would like to make a change. Can I do that?
A: As long as you contact us prior to your tile(s) being placed into production we can make adjustments. Please email your name, order number and changes ASAP and we’ll let you know what can be done: [email protected]
