We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with our Capitol Theatre community—#TheCapCares has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Community Partner Award from the Westchester Parks Foundation!

For nearly five decades, WPF has championed the restoration, preservation, and celebration of Westchester County’s incredible park system. Through their annual Parks Are Essential Gala, they recognize organizations and individuals who go above and beyond in supporting local green spaces, and this year, we’re beyond proud to be counted among them.

This honor is a true reflection of what we’ve built together through #TheCapCares Volunteer Rewards Program. Since its launch, this initiative has connected hundreds of passionate fans with volunteer opportunities across the region, all in the name of giving back. From planting trees to supporting local nonprofits, every action taken by our volunteers has helped strengthen our community and protect the places that make Westchester so special.

The award will be presented at WPF’s annual gala on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the stunning Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. We’re incredibly grateful for this recognition and can’t wait to stand alongside fellow community leaders and changemakers who share our commitment to keeping Westchester vibrant and accessible for all.
