The Capitol Theatre's "In-Between Sets" is an engaging way for us to unlock the imagination of our performers. By asking the same series of 10 questions, we hope to take you on a behind-the-scenes journey into the minds of your favorite musicians.

1. What's your favorite after-show meal?

Do you mean my favorite one or the one I am allowed to eat? I generally do have something light like a salad for after the show. But if I was 20 years younger I'd be eating pizza or a burger!

2. If you could choose one song to play when you enter a room, what song would you choose?

That is a great and super hard question. There's a track that I'm completely into right now by a band called Black Merda. The title is "Cynthy Ruth." I think that track would get my point across.

3. Who's your favorite active musician/band today?

I'm kind of sprung on Kendrick Lamar right now. I think he's the strongest clearest artist at the moment.

4. What artist or band today would you want to collaborate with?

I would love to play saxophone with Jack White.

5. What musical moment do you wish you saw in history?

The life of Christ. That would clear up a lot of things.

6. If you weren't a musician, what job would you choose?

A scientist of some sort. I love the concept of making math answer all of our questions. It seems a lot like music.

7. Would you rather live underwater or in outer space?

Another great question. If you're in outerspace you going to kind of be alone, but you also would have to be able to travel really fast, which I like. If you're underwater, you going to have a lot of company but I think the beauty of outerspace would win in the end. Kind of like being Rutger Hauer in blade runner.

8. What song can you not get out of your head today?

I just finished up my summer touring schedule with Slightly Stoopid so I've been stuck on “Hold it Down."

9. If you could travel in time, would you rather go to the future or to the past?

I would go to the future and use medicine to help me live longer so I could read about the past.

10. How do you define success?

Satisfaction with your life.
