PRIVATE EVENTS

The Capitol Theatre, located 22 miles outside New York City in Port Chester, N.Y., is a rock palace fit for any occasion. In addition to being a premier concert venue, The Capitol Theatre is available for private events both large and small. The theater can accommodate a wide range of event types, including private concerts, corporate meetings, galas, social gatherings, private parties and more. The following rental options are available:

 

THE CAPITOL THEATRE 

Concerts (GA floor/reserved balcony): 2,000

Concerts (seated): 1,527

Reception: 800

Seated Dinner: 175

Theater-Style Seating: 1,527

Ceiling Height: 65′ (main theater area)

Stage: 45′ 9″ W x 30′ 7″ D x 3′ 6″ H

(Please note: Full-theater rentals include use of our smaller music venue, Garcia’s.)

 

GARCIA’S AT THE CAPITOL THEATRE

Garcia’s serves as our main lobby bar on show nights, but it’s a music venue in its own right, complete with its own stage, house sound and lights. With capacity up to 250, Garcia’s is ideal for smaller events of all kinds.

Standing Room: 250

Reception: 160

Seated Dinner: N/A (buffet- or cocktail-style dinner only)

Theater-Style Seating: 75

Ceiling Height: 18′

Stage: 16′ W x 14′ D

 

PRESHOW & POSTSHOW PARTIES 

In addition to a fully private rental of The Capitol Theatre and/or Garcia’s, you can also rent one of our semiprivate party spaces prior to or following an existing theater show (available for select shows only). These parties are held in one of the following locations and require that all guests have tickets to the show:

  • Garcia’s (accommodates 20 to 150 guests)
  • The Capitol Theatre’s Mezzanine Bar (accommodates up to 80 guests)
  • Party Deck (in theater, accommodates up to 50 guests)
