Reviving a classic!

The Complete Last Waltz recreates The Band's legendary farewell concert "The Last Waltz" on November 26

The Band was one of the most popular and influential rock 'n' roll ensembles of their time. On Thanksgiving Eve, in 1976, The Band said farewell with a final concert at Bill Graham's Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, California.

The goodbye concert featured a star-studded line-up of over a dozen friends including Neil Young, Ringo Starr, Joni Mitchell, and Muddy Waters. With director Martin Scorsese behind the camera, "The Last Waltz" film was made and a monumental moment in music history was captured.

On November 26, a mountain of musicians will come together for a night of celebration and collaboration. Artists confirmed so far include Joe Russo, Sam Cohen, Scott Metzger, Dave Dreiwitz, Marco Benevento, Jeff Chimenti, Jon Shaw, Josh Kaufman, Nels Cline, Toby Leaman, Delicate Steve, Nicole Atkins, Jocie Adams, Binky Griptite, John Roderick, Jeremy Black, Eric D. Johnson, Ryan Miller, The Antibalas Horns, and The Parkington Sisters. Stay tuned as many more artists will be announced! Tickets on sale here.

Last year, The Cap held The Complete Last Waltz on November 27. Jambase.com reviewed the show saying the “all-star line-up” was “the closest one can get to capturing the magic of an event forever frozen in time."
