The band features the incredibly talented quartet of Ty Mares on guitar and vocals, John “Jelly Roll” Nemeth on bass and vocals, Billy Siegel on keys and vocals, and Dan Donovan on drums and percussion. Based out of the NJ shore area, Cosmic Jerry Band has quickly become a leading presence on the local scene. Members of this band have shared the stage with musicians from Jerry Garcia Band, Talking Heads, RatDog, Hot Tuna, Parliament Funkadelic, Jefferson Starship, Spin Doctors, Dramarama, Dark Star Orchestra, Live Dead, KC and The Sunshine Band, and more. They combine lifetimes of experience with their immense love of music and a "no rules, no limits" approach to their playing that has created a major buzz on the Jersey Shore and beyond.While drawing from the catalog of the Grateful Dead and all incarnations of Jerry Garcia's solo projects plus much more, Cosmic Jerry Band has become known for their unique setlists. These musical ninjas manage to create a fresh take on a genre that is over 50 years old and are genuinely ecstatic to do it.
