One listen to SKYFACTOR's new release SIGNAL STRENGTH and it's clear these guys know how to craft memorable and powerful "Rockoustic" songs that grab you from the get-go -- and won't let go. SKYFACTOR's simple but effective melodies combine with edgy dynamics to take the listener on a ride each and every time.

Formed on a rooftop in the East Village of New York City in 2006, SKYFACTOR was born when the musical paths of longtime friends Bob Ziegler and Jason Taylor (formerly of Michigan's Brother Rabbit) and brothers Jon Rubin and Cliff Rubin (formerly of NYC's Sky Blues) finally crossed. Almost instantly the songs started flowing out, and they knew they were on to something.

Their 2010 debut Daydreams received much critical acclaim and notice, including that of MTV, who chose the track "OK" as the theme song for an episode of their hit show Teen Mom, resulting in something of a "hit single" for the band, with thousands of downloads from around the world. Skyfactor also must have a big fan at NBC's The Voice, who used another cut from Daydreams no less than three times last season, including in the season finale which was seen by 14 million viewers. Skyfactor also made a recent splash on satellite radio, when SiriusXM picked the band to be the subject of an exclusive live concert broadcast from The Living Room in New York City.

After the success of Daydreams, the quartet honed their musical chemistry and style on stage for the next two years before heading back into the studio to capture the group's surging energy and momentum. The result is SIGNAL STRENGTH, which represents the band in its finest form yet -- thanks to personal, insightful lyrics backed by a big acoustic guitar and one very powerful rhythm section.

Refreshingly spare while layered with deep emotion, the band's songs have a way of becoming the latest soundtrack-to-your-life before you even realize it. Once you hear their new record - and then experience SKYFACTOR live - you'll understand what all the buzz is about.
Greetings From Anywhere
Greetings From Anywhere
Formed high up on a hill in Dobbs Ferry, NY in 2007, Greetings From Anywhere blends folk, blues, bluegrass and country into a unique roots-rock hybrid, performing with the gritty, impromptu abandon of a good-old-time garage band. Veterans of the NYC and Hudson Valley pub and festival circuit, GFA features a wide array of original compositions alongside choice reinterpreted feel-good covers.

Graceful lead vocalist Sheila Noonan-Gorham, who's steeped in the tradition of Irish music, is joined by a supporting cast with diverse musical backgrounds; acoustic guitarist/banjoist Andrew Schriever cut his chops in the Boston folk scene, electric bassist Adam Friedman and drummer Doug Schneider are veterans of the jam band circuit, multi-instrumentalist Michael Chatham is rooted in the south Florida punk/DIY tradition, and classically-trained fiddler Liz Mackanesi performed in NYC indie rock bands. In addition to their primary instruments, each supporting band member is known to take their own turn on lead vocals, creating a unique dynamic to each performance.

GFA is in the final stages of recording sessions with producer/engineer Matt Noble of their hometown Riverworks Recording, with a record release date slated for Fall 2014.
