A New Year's Celebration with PhilRAD featuring Phil Lesh & Joe Russo's Almost Dead on December 29, December 30 and December 31

We're bidding goodnight to 2014 with three nights of Phil Lesh and Joe Russo's Almost Dead at The Capitol Theatre! Founding Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh will join Joe Russo's Almost Dead to become a new incarnation, known for the first time as PhilRAD. This momentous occasion will celebrate Phil Lesh's first time performing New Year's Eve on the East Coast since Grateful Dead's Boston Tea Party show in 1969.

Learning from the source, Joe Russo, who has performed since 2009 with Futhur and Phil Lesh & Friends, has discovered and captured the essence of Grateful Dead's music and spirit. Joe Russo's Almost Dead has been impressing live audiences around the country performing the Grateful Dead’s songbook, and on December 29, December 30 and December 31, Joe, along with guitarists Scott Metzger and Tommy Hamilton, and keyboardist Marco Benevento will join Phil Lesh to become PhilRAD.

Join us for three magical evenings of live music and toast to new beginnings at The Cap. We can't think of a better way to ring in 2015!
