On Wed. March 20th, SoulShine will continue its residency at Garcia’s, celebrating the Allman Brothers Band's historic run of shows at New York’s Beacon Theater. The band will perform the "Brothers and Sisters” record in its entirety for the first time. There will be featured guests sitting in and other musical surprises all night.

SoulShine is a group of seasoned New York musicians united with the sole purpose of bringing authentic Allman Brothers Band experience. Formed originally to perform a one-off club show, SoulShine continues performing almost 2 years later with shows throughout the Northeast having performed at venues such as Manhattan’s Cutting Room and a recently sold out show at The Tarrytown Music Hall.

    Steve Parish
Steve Parish has been a primary member of The Grateful Dead family for 50 years. Steve first joined the band as a roadie in 1969. It wasn’t long before he was Jerry Garcia’s trusted gear handler and began to manage The Jerry Garcia Band. Over the years Parish and Garcia forged an unbreakable bond. Steve was Jerry’s best man at his wedding and was at his bedside when Garcia fell in to a coma in 1986.

Parish was the last friend to see Jerry before his untimely death in 1995.

Steve has continued to maintain his relationships with the rest of The Grateful Dead family. As Weir once said to him “Blood is thicker than water but we have us thicker than blood. “

The Big Steve Hour, which is normally hosted at Bobby’s place, Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, Ca, is going out on the road.

Come be a part of the conversation with Big Steve Parish while he shares stories of his life on the road with the most iconic band in history.

The incredibly talented Katie Skene will be joining Steve for an unforgettable musical and storytelling experience.
