    Reeves Gabrels
    Reeves Gabrels
Reeves Gabrels, a world-class American musician, is an innovative guitarist who also sings, writes songs and composes soundscapes. He joined The Cure, a distinctive and successful post-punk rock band, in 2012 and is known as well for his partnership with David Bowie from 1987 through 1999. A co-founder of the rock band Tin Machine with David Bowie, Tony Sales and Hunt Sales, Gabrels went on to work closely with Bowie as guitarist and a co-writer for Outside (1995) and as guitarist, co-writer and co-producer for Earthling (1997) and Hours (1999). Gabrels was Bowie's guitarist and music director across a dozen years of touring, including for a Bowie tour with Nine Inch Nails, and for Bowie’s 50th birthday celebration at Madison Square Garden.

The 2017 release Imaginary Friends Live is Gabrels' sixth album as featured guitarist and vocalist supported by superb musical colleagues. He also made two improvisatory guitar-duo albums, one with Bill Nelson of Be-Bop Deluxe fame and the other with David Tronzo who currently teaches at Boston's Berklee College of Music. Gabrels also composes film, television and video-game soundtracks. A sought-after collaborator, he has written, performed and recorded with musicians in genres from heavy metal to hip-hop to electronica to jazz.

Reeves Gabrels & His Imaginary Friends are a Nashville-based power trio formed in 2007 and fronted by "one of the most daring rock-guitar improvisers since Jimi Hendrix" (Ted Drozdowski for Guitar.com). Each song is its own adventure when Reeves and friends perform. One Gabrels lyric says it all: "Let me bend your ear, and your mind a little too."
    Lizzie and The Makers
    Lizzie and The Makers
Lizzie & The Makers is a hard rock psychedelic soul and blues band based in Brooklyn, New York. Dark and soulful lead vocals and lyrics by Lizzie Edwardsand original arrangements by Greg McMullen (Chris Whitley, Speedbuggy, Glenn Branca) combine the hard rock, and psychedelic soul of musicians like Freddie King, Sharon Jones, Led Zeppelin, PJ Harvey and Pink Floyd.

“Lizzie & the Makers are one of one of New York’s most distinctive, exhilarating bands. They jam, but they keep their solos short and spot-on, usually two or maybe three bars at the most. Their inspirations are classic Chicago blues and southern soul, but they also have a psychedelic side: they’re closer to Robert Cray – with a charismatic woman out in front of the band – or Led Zep than, say, Amy Winehouse. Intense frontwoman Lizzie Edwards might not only be the best blue-eyed soul singer in New York: she might be the best blue-eyed soul singer anywhere.” – NY Music Daily
