'Tis the season for giving!

Make a child's holiday wish come true at The Capitol Theatre on December 6!

The Capitol Theatre will host a toy drive on December 6 at Michael McDonald: An Evening of Holiday & Hits to benefit local organizations Port Chester Carver Center and Open Door Family Medical Centers.

Along with your holiday cheer, bring an unwrapped and unopened toy with you to the concert for children ages newborn to 14 years old. Clearly placed drop boxes will be located inside the lobby and representatives from Open Door Family Medical Centers and Port Chester Carver Center will be on-site offering educational information about their services and taking additional donations.

Open Door Family Medical Centers keeps children and their families healthy through prenatal care, well baby visits, immunizations, and an exemplary school based health program. More than 14,100 children receive their care at Open Door Family Medical Centers each year.

Founded in 1943, Port Chester Carver Center provides individuals and families with the resources and support needed to lead productive, healthy, and independent lives. As the largest and longest running community center in Port Chester, the Port Chester Carver Center continues to meet people where they are and provide them with the tools and resources to help them “build brighter futures.”

If you are not attending and still want to donate, toys can be dropped off at The Capitol Theatre offices Mon-Fri the week of December 1 from 10AM-5PM.

This holiday season, you can enjoy great music while also giving back to the community! Make a difference in a child's life this year and capture the spirit of the season at The Cap!
